Why Lax Maniax Club Lacrosse
Recreational lacrosse is where many athletes discover the game, develop fundamental skills, and build a love for playing. Local programs are the foundation of a thriving girls lacrosse community.
Club lacrosse complements that experience by providing additional opportunities for players who want to continue developing their skills, compete in a more advanced environment, and train alongside teammates with similar goals. Rather than replacing recreational lacrosse, club lacrosse extends the player's journey and provides the next step for athletes ready to challenge themselves.
Regional club teams bring together players from multiple communities to create stronger training environments, deeper competition, and teams built to compete against other clubs structured the same way.
At Lax Maniax, families receive the complete club lacrosse experience: experienced coaching, competitive opportunities, teams for multiple ages and levels, and college recruiting support for athletes pursuing the next level..

We are built specifically for this community. Our regional approach keeps practices, training, and programming centered in Manatee and Sarasota Counties, allowing players to spend more time developing with their teammates while reducing the travel demands often associated with club lacrosse.
For more than 18 years, Lax Maniax has helped grow the game throughout Southwest Florida, with more than 450 players continuing their lacrosse careers at the collegiate level. Through club teams, camps, clinics, and year-round development opportunities, we are committed to helping every athlete reach her goals—whether that means playing in college or simply becoming the best player and teammate she can be.

Collegiate Development Program (CDP Teams)
Our CDP teams are our elite recruiting teams geared towards helping athletes who wish to compete at the collegiate level. These teams compete in the top brackets of national tournaments and come complete with a recruiting system and guidance that has helped nearly 450 athletes to go on to play NCAA Lacrosse.
The CDP commitment includes practices, team training weekends, in- and out-of-state tournaments, recruiting education seminars, tournament film and individual meetings each season.
CDP teams are based on high school graduation year and are a year-long commitment (Jan-Dec).
High School Teams
Our High School program currently features HS Select and HS Open teams for athletes who want to continue improving and competing beyond their spring high school seasons. Teams are composed of multiple graduation years and are formed by our coaching staff to create the best developmental and competitive environment for each player. Every athlete benefits from exceptional coaching, organized programming, and a girls-only club dedicated to helping players reach their full potential.
Middle School Teams
Our Middle School Select team is designed for athletes who want to accelerate their development in a competitive environment. The team is made up of players from multiple graduation years and is formed by our coaching staff based on skill level, development needs, and overall fit. Players benefit from quality coaching, local practices, team training, and in-state tournament competition throughout the season.
Mini Maniax
Our Mini Maniax program is a developmental program for players in high school grad years 2034-2035. The Mini Maniax commitment includes local practices and in-state tournaments each season. It is a seasonal commitment and registration.
